Emblematic of his practice are deals which opened up Wilson Sonsini, WilmerHale, Stradling, Goodwin Procter and Kelley Drye offices in LA, Gibson Dunn’s office in Singapore, complemented by his numerous other signature placements at the world’s leading law firms. His placements have repeatedly been listed on The American Lawyer’s annual short list of the top lateral partner moves worldwide.
Prior to recruiting, Dan practiced law with Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis and was later hired by Home Depot to create and manage its West Coast legal department (a 20B Division). Dan’s work there earned him recognition as one of the “Top 20 Lawyers under 40” in California by the California Daily Journal. Dan began recruiting partners in 2003 when he founded the partner recruiting practice in Southern California for Major Lindsey & Africa.

Dan grew up in San Diego and currently resides in Newport Beach with his wife Karol, and their three children.
